Our mission is to provide counseling and educational services which promote healing, inspire growth, and encourage renewal in people and in their relationships.

Our services help to create positive change in the midst of life’s challenges, strengthen marriages, improve family life, protect children from abuse, and resolve past abuse. They help people move through grief, reconcile relationships, and discover their identity. They help people move beyond painful symptoms, break free of addictions, and negotiate difficult life transitions. Most importantly, for those who are Christians, our services help people develop their relationship with God in the midst of their circumstances.

When you donate to Family Therapy of Albuquerque (FTA) you are contributing to the transformation of people’s lives in these ways and more. You are joining a mission designed to assist the Spirit-driven process of Christ being formed in people’s lives. You are becoming part of a mission to renew lives, strengthen the church, and transform the community.

Our vision is to build a state-of-the-art facility which will allow FTA to expand its outreach, to provide the most excellent clinical services possible, and to support training designed to equip Christian counselors with exceptional clinical skills and spiritual sensitivity.

We serve our mission at a time (in terms of the healthcare climate) when the cost of providing services is often higher than the income they generate. This means we need your help to fulfill our calling to minister to persons regardless of the level of their financial resources.

There are three ways to join us in this work which has fuelled our passion and inspired our commitment.

1. General donations to FTA help provide counseling services in general, and Christian counseling when it is preferred, to a broad range of people at affordable rates.
2. Donations to our scholarship funds, the Through the Roof Fund and the At the Well Fund, go solely toward making our services affordable to those who would not otherwise be able to receive our services.
3. Donations to our Building Fund help us fulfill our vision for enhancing the future of our ministry through a new facility.
